The 75th Annual Old Fort Days Rodeo Returns
May 26 through May 31, 2008.
The 2008 edition of the Old Fort Days Rodeo
will again feature the best cowboys, high prize money, and quality Harry
Vold rodeo livestock! Those who attend will thrill to the
usual, exciting events - Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, Team Bronc
Riding, Team Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling,
Saddle Bronc Riding, the Old Fort Days Dandies, and Bull Riding.

Boyd Polhamus returns to the Old
Fort Days Rodeo. Benje Bendele, the sound man for the National Finals Rodeo, is the music man. Grand Entry starts at 7:00 pm and rodeo starts at 7:30 pm. Don't forget our Super
Kids Rodeo on Thursday night.
Speciality Acts
The One Armed Bandit & Co. featuring Amanda Payne will be here on May 29th - 31st. Melissa Navarre's "Flying Arena Stars" on May 26th - 28th.
Friday Night's "Tough Enough to Wear Pink!"
Friday night (5/30) will be a special night and a fund raiser for
the
Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House. $1.00
of every ticket sold will go to this very special organization
in Fort Smith. Check back often for updates on raffles.
Old Timers Reunion
Another unique event is the Old Timer's Reunion on Sunday,May 25th . Tickets are available and the evening begins at 6:00pm.
Clowns & Bullfighters!
And you want clowns we have them! Our
rodeo clown bullfighters are Rob Gann (from Lonoke AR) and Clay
Collins (2007 Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo Bullfighter). This year's
barrelman is Cody Sosbee from Charleston, Arkansas.
Family Fun In & Out of the Arena.
Inside the arena Tuesday and Wednesday nights (5/27-28) are Family
Nights where all seats are $5.00 (does not include box seats.)
Outside the arena again this year you can enjoy the Kenny's Fun Land
with fun rides and games for the whole family. Also, new
this year, watch for the "Watermelon Crawl" from Bedfords
Camera & Video
and 99.9 KTCS.
If you haven't attended the Old Fort Days Rodeo
in recent years you'll be amazed at the pace. We'll have you thoroughly
entertained and on your way home in approximately two hours. And
don't forget our Parades kicking off the whole week on Memorial
Day, Monday 26th in downtown Fort Smith starting at 10:00 am and
the Van Buren parade on Saturday May 24th at 1:00 pm.
